Vicci Martinez
22 yr-old rock sensation Vicci Martinez is an artist on her way to national prominence. An acoustic-based singer/songwriter, pianist, percussionist, and guitarist, Vicci is capturing large audiences throughout the Northwest and beyond with her passionately soulful voice, original lyrics, and incendiary live performances.
Vicci's diversity is reflected in the performers she has opened for, or shared the stage with, such as Sting, Annie Lennox, Avril Lavigne, BB King, Jonny Lang, Christopher Cross, Bill Frisell, Brandi Carlisle, Supersuckers, Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), and The Presidents Of The United States Of America, to name a few.
At TransVision 2007 she will be joined by her long-standing band featuring Rod Cook (electric guitar), Jeff Leonard (bass guitar), and Darin Watkins (drums). This show also celebrates the much-anticipated release of Vicci's new cd "I Could Be A Boxer."
