great video
You don't need to join photography class after watching this video thanks for making this video.
AMAZING CLASS! THANK YOU
I want to become a photographer just haven’t had the ability to because of money. This is the best thing so far. I’ve learned so much and focused my photos better and made them look much more professional just an hour in. I can’t wait to finish this and apply it to what I’ve already learned ?
loooool 12/10 vacation scene
The BEST video on YouTube, and you’re a delight to learn from! Thank you!
I don't know how do I thank to you as I learned tons of informational things from this video. I had a Canon 700d camera which I rarely used to click photo using auto mode but after watching this video I switched myself to manual mode and started taking really nice snaps. Thank you so much for this wonderful and informational video.
superb watch, I feel I actually understand some of the more "frightening" aspects of photography now like full manual mode, plus in the histogram section I really like how you broke it down to seem so simple. Thank you for an excellent video , I've learned so much watching it.
A got a few questions! My job told me that men are color blind to a certain spectrum. How does it affects the pictures and editing? Also, aspects ratio. What is the perfect aspect ratio to shoot a wedding to variations of prints?. Also, magazines and newspapers aspect ratio for digital and print views. Alas, take pictures for social media plat forms, should a use the recommended aspect ratio or continue shooting in full frame? Thanks in advance
Thanks you for sharing make me have experience
Wow ? Thank you so much . I learned a lot from your classes ?
Wow very impressive lots of knowledge I gained through this video thank you
You are a great instructor?❣️ I'm where you are explaining why the camera doesnt chose the right aetting and how to correct that. You have given underlying basic info to be able to undrrs8tand the why, not just the how! You are a blessing and a gift? ?❣️
My camera can't shoot in raw
this is very helpful. just have one question, my camera has 16 square grid lines. how can I apply the rule of thirds?
The best photography course on YouTube hands down. I took so many notes and the hands on demos were incredibly helpful. I’ll definitely be watching again as well as checking out some of the other tutorials. Definitely feeling more inspired!
Just what the Doctor ordered! Brilliant course! Thanks Chris!
I think the hate against kit lenses is not really justified
Yes, they perform poorly, they have mostly a garbage aperture at tele range and a at best "ok" one in wide angle, but i really enjoyed my 18-55 kit lens, it was at least better than the compact camera i had before (which was already a big win for me).
Ofc after a while i got a tele-zoom, even 2 50mm primes (the Canon 1.4 for toneh and a Sigma 2.8 macro for sharp images and well.. macro) and some more.
What is in my opinion even worse than the kit lens…. buying midclass glass when you already know you want/need more soon! Going with too tight budget and you end up with garbage glass you will never be happy with!
Thanks a lot ?
Thank you very so much Sir!!!! You could've literally made tens of thousands of dollars by charging for your knowledge. Wow!!!! I didn't know I'll be going back to second semester Physics while learning Photography! I've downloaded the entire course to watch, rewatch, and always come back to it. I've learned so much from your course and it's amazing how your work, free of charge, put those of so many so called "experts" to shame! Thank you so much Sir and forever blessed be!
It is not using Canon ??. I need to learn Canon. It has using Nikon ???
?????
This is great info and well presented! I am a beginner and learned so much from this!
I'm from Korea. I've watched so many different courses of photography. But personally this one was the best. Besides the good contents, Mr. Parker's pronouciation is really clear and sharp to listen to. I recommend this course someone like me. Thanks!!!
First time owning a camera .. I don’t know anything about camera but interested in learning…
Thank a lot…amazing learning courses and free?. Done subcribes.
Thank you so much
Hi Chris, thanks for doing this , I dont edit my photos its just my opinioon, I have a canon 7D I ptefer Canon, is ther any way you can look at some of my photos and honestly let me know what you think, thank you for your time in making this video
This is really great piece of help. I don’t own a camera right now but i will use pro-mode of smartphone so that I practice ISO / shutter-speed / n aperture enough so that I understand completely before going for a DSLR. N thanks for this video. Much appreciated. ??
This is so good. I hope it reaches million of views. Thank you.
Chris, I don’t know where to begin in thanking you for this course. Your teaching style is clear, your instruction thorough, and your content very complete and up to date. You’ve helped me in so many areas, especially in lighting and the histogram. Your presentation is fantastic and having your daughter, who was beautiful as a child, beautiful as a teen, and beautiful as an adult, shows the warm, family side to you which comes across in your teaching. I plan on going over parts of this in the future and am getting your advanced course. Liked, saved, and subscribed!
thank you for your video it helps alot, i'm a newbie in photography from Ukraine and I've just got my first dslr camera sony a700. its very old camera but i'm amazed how good photos i may take with it, no comparsion with smartphones.
I am just 30- 40 min in, this is amazing! Thank you for this! I have leisurely taken pics for years; I never knew what I didn't know. YOU ROCK!
Thank you so much????
Have you experienced PhotoScapeX free software?
Very clear instruction!!!
here i am trying the settings ISO on my phone
Have just completed your amazing course in one day. Thank you so much. I have one comment though regarding your camera categories. I have a Panasonic TZ 95. This would be I suppose, a compact camera by category. It will fit in a pocket but it’s absolutely nothing like the example in your video which is just point and shoot. The TZ 95 like others in this category has just about all and sometimes more features than a mirrorless camera. To name a few features: control ring with ASPM plus others, so full manual control, two programmable dials, 9 function options all programmable, options for JPEG, JPEP +RAW or Just Raw (inc. in camera RAW processing), exposure compensation, bracketing, in camera HDR etc , I could just keep going on. OK small sensor but still great images providing one doesn’t want to blow them right up. Oh, and 30 times optical zoom plus double that adding in digital. One more major feature is the viewfinder with diopter and this automatically switches to it when eye is raised to it. Also, touch screen and tilting.
This is a definite separate category (total cost under £400 with no further costs other than so card and spare battery), to the point and shoot as you described it. I’m personally getting very keen on photography, witness I just did your course in one day and keep looking at DSLR or Mirrorless. However, so far even though I have tried to, I haven’t convinced myself that for me, just an amateur, that having a DSLR or mirrorless will do anything for my photography that the TZ 95 can’t do. The minimum aperture is f3.3 so if I want to shoot in low light I use my fixed lens f1.7 camera which is brilliant in low light, that is I use my MotoG7 plus phone camera.
The point of this post really is to say that everything in the course applies to my TZ95 other than lenses and will be useful for anyone with a similar camera to mine. So, once again thank you, fantastic course.
i watched it all..thank you so much , … i am a beginner , i didn't buy a camera yet …. i m confused between canon eos 750d and canon eos 200d and nikon D5500 , what do you think? give me an advice please , thank you.
I struggled with noticing the noise difference in the photos at the 30 minute mark because I have visual snow meaning in real life I see everything with a lot of noise. So you explaining the iso is very useful for me as I most likely would notice!
I am very impressed with the way you taught this course and the broad scope that you covered. You explained somewhat complicated concetps in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Thank you very much for making this available for free.
Chris,
Love your course! I have been recording images for quite some time. My newest camera is a Nikon Z6. My question to you is… I need a workflow for determining the correct aperture for landscape photography at a distance. Some say F11, F13, F16 but how would I set my aperture initially if I was in the field? A lot of instructors seem to dance around this and I can never get a definitive answer. Please help! Dave from Virginia Beach…
Thank you very much for this excellent Tutorial! You made it very simple…
I love photography.. but cant afford to buy good lenses
I set my D7000 camera with 18-105 lens to aperture priority mode. shutter speed is vaying between 1.3 sec for f/5.6 and 30 sec for f/22 (zoom was at 18mm). I took two images at extreme aperture in my room with light on. Images are almost white.
this is amazing and generous, thank you, i have enjoyed this a lot
Many many thanks for this course waited a long time for like this
Very good! Thanks for the class.
Great value. I shared it with friends and family
This is the best presentation I've seen!!! Thank you. I now have the courage & desire to get my camera off the auto mode & onto manual mode. Thank you again
